The Magic Schoolhouse Double-decker Rides Again is a Canadian-American animated children'south web series, based on the book series of the same proper noun by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. It also serves every bit a continuation of the 1994-97 PBS Kids series The Magic School Bus, with Lily Tomlin reprising her role every bit Ms. Frizzle. The serial premiered on Netflix on September 29, 2017. The second season premiered on April 13, 2018.

Three 45-minute specials, "Kids in Space", "The Frizz Connection", and "In the Zone", premiered on Netflix in 2020. They were dedicated to Joanna Cole, the writer of the original books, who died that year.

The serial made its linear debut on Qubo on November i, 2022 and aired until the channel ceased broadcasting on February 28, 2021.

Plot

In the sequel to Scholastic's The Magic School Bus, the flagship Ms. Valerie Frizzle (now Professor Frizzle) gets her Ph.D and retires from teaching at Walkerville Elementary School. She so hires her younger sister, Miss Fiona Frizzle, to teach the course, and passes the keys of the Magic School Bus over to her. The kids journey on exciting new field-trips, discovering new locations, creatures, time periods and more to acquire virtually the wonders of science, educating viewers along the mode, on the eponymous Bus.
